Secretary Message
Dear members, It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the Honorary Secretary of IADVL Kerala for the term 2024–2025. Under the able leadership of our President, Dr. Rakhesh S.V., and with the support of our dedicated team of office bearers, we are committed to advancing the mission of IADVL Kerala and fostering professional excellence within our fraternity.
In the months ahead, we have meticulously planned a series of initiatives aimed at professional growth, collaboration, and community service. Our academic calendar includes a range of Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, symposiums, and conferences—both online and offline—designed to provide valuable insights and enhance knowledge for all our members. Specially curated programs for postgraduate students will equip them with the necessary skills to excel in their examinations and future clinical practice.
We remain steadfast in our commitment to combat quackery and uphold ethical dermatological practice. We urge all members to stay vigilant and report any unethical practices with appropriate evidence. Additionally, community service remains a cornerstone of our association’s activities. This year, we aim to expand our outreach efforts by engaging student communities, raising awareness among pharmacists about steroid misuse, and educating the public on the importance of consulting a qualified dermatologist. We will also continue previous presidential initiatives, including dermatology camps in jails, orphanages, and old-age homes across the state. Public awareness campaigns marking important health days will also be a key focus.
At IADVL Kerala, every member is an invaluable asset, contributing to the strength and success of our association. We encourage you to actively participate in our initiatives and share your valuable insights. Your engagement and support will drive us toward greater achievements.
