Secretary’s Message | IADVL Kerala (2025–2026)

Dear Members,

It is a privilege to serve as the Honorary Secretary of IADVL Kerala for 2025–2026. Under the leadership of our President, Dr. David Pudukadan, we move forward with a clear vision— “Together Towards Excellence.” This rests on four pillars: academic growth, community engagement, professional development with zero tolerance to quackery, and strong member engagement—driven by structured execution and accountability.

The year ahead includes well-planned academic programs with CMEs, symposiums, and conferences, both online and offline. Postgraduate-focused initiatives will be strictly exam- and clinic-oriented—no distractions, only relevance.

Key initiatives include a member-exclusive EMR system, an official IADVL Kerala mobile app, a transparent job and dermatology equipment portal, revised scholarship policies promoting ethical and merit-based participation, small-group procedural trainings, practice-management support, approved-clinic listings, and a formal induction for new members.

Our zero-tolerance stance on quackery remains firm. Community outreach will expand, with focused programs on steroid misuse awareness, student education, and continued dermatology services in jails, orphanages, and old-age homes. Public awareness activities aligned with national health days will continue with measurable outcomes.

All flagship programs—CMEs, Cutifest, and postgraduate clinics—will continue uninterrupted. Success depends on active member participation across all committees.

Every member matters. Let us work together for a focused, impactful, and productive year.
