Skin, hair and cosmetic treatments by unqualified people can cause burns, scarring, pigmentation, infections and steroid damage. Only qualified dermatologists should prescribe treatments and perform procedures such as lasers, peels and injectables.
Verify the doctor by name or membership number. Genuine IADVL Kerala members can also be found in the dermatologist directory.
In an emergency or for a crime, contact the police. IADVL Kerala can take up complaints with the authorities but cannot act as a law-enforcement body.
